Ibrahim Phiri and Ryuya Nakai, both in their mid-20s, are serial entrepreneurs based in New York City sharing a profound love for tennis. Ibrahim, raised in Southern Africa, and Ryuya, born in East Asia, aim to forge a lasting connection between their two cultures through their shared passion.
IPN Philosophy
Disagreement is not oppression. Argument is not assault. Words, even provocative or repugnant ones, are not violence. The answer to speech we do not like is more speech.
We Look Forward
It is one of the most watched sports on the planet. These are the two most populated continents globally. Given the scale of what IPN is trying to build, it would be small minded to treat this as only our private dream. We are not the first international company to attempt something like this. A genuine dream, once released into the world through conviction, can outlive mockery, setbacks, and even the person who first carried it. It lingers as an unfinished vibration, waiting for the next conductor. IPN is that conductor right now. We will keep going, as a company, as a team, learning, adjusting, and striving to get better with every step.
